It is easy to hear what someone did and think "how could he!" or "how could she!" but the truth is, a mistake is not the end or the beginning of anything, if anything, a mistake is a chance to grow for everyone who is part of that mistake. In this world where we are all walking around playing a part as in a play, acting out what we think our role is, every now and then, like celebrities, the pressure does get to us and we break down and in a moment of weakness, we make a mistake... and in that moment, people want to forget the years they've known us and focus on that one moment as though it is the moment of truth... But if we can say "I am sorry" and truly mean it, then maybe what we need is help not condemnation, support not rejection, love not disdain... maybe we just need love, the unconditional type... maybe.
