Dehumo Bickersteth: What a Life...Longing, Searching, Hoping

you make things alright

mu'blog - mu'blog motivational

Was listening to this song I wrote over a decade ago and recorded with a very dear friend, Tutu... decided to post it. Sometimes we just need a reason to go on, some source of inner strength to make us believe that there is a day after the night, that the tiny light at the end of the tunnel is indeed bright and full, to avoid embracing the darkness in fear that the hope of the day may disappoint... but if one finds a reason to believe that one can, a reason to stand up and try, a reason to give it all one has got, then one will... and that's all that matters.

expressions by Tutu on CDBaby (from the album expressions)

each time i think of you i wonder where i'll be
in this world of tribulation, trials and fear
i could never live a day, no future without you
it's so sad if i didn't know you make things alright
you make things alright

Lord i remember how we share these precious moments
how you lead me by the hand right through this world
i could never live a day, no future without you
it's so sad, if i didn't know you make things alright
you make things alright

even if my heart was broken, my world turned upside down
i would never be afraid my heart will always look to you
cos my soul is all i care about, eternity with you my Lord
that's all i want, that's all i want
