Dehumo Bickersteth: What a Life...Longing, Searching, Hoping

silent rain quiet storm

mu'blog - mu'blog motivational

There is a lot of pain and despair in the world and i don't mean far away in TV news land but often right next to us. The smiling faces we encounter everyday often are harboring pain known to no one else, suffering alone and in silence, like a quiet storm, like silent rain, dry eyes soaked in unseen tears, need to let the pain go, need to see the rainbow... keep your eyes on the rainbow. (Thanking Elizabeth Sia for the vocals and Giri for the drum programming)

dehumob what a life on CDBaby (from the mostly instrumental album "What a life")

hear the silent rain fall, hear the quiet storm roll
hear the silent rain fall, keep your eyes on the rainbow

a deafening sound no one can hear
stormy clouds gather over your heavy heart
a walk in a crowd and still you feel alone
kind words come and kind words go
smiles that melt the hardest hearts
but still your dry eyes just won't stop
shedding tears that tell a tale

the pain won't stop, the pain persists
it slowly becomes a reason to live
let it go... let it go...

hear the silent rain fall, hear the quiet storm roll
hear the silent rain fall, hear the quiet storm roll
hear the silent rain fall, keep you eyes on the rainbow

cos it'll be your guide, it'll be your hope for generations
it'll be your guide, it'll be your hope for generations

let the pain go....
